4 Pictures and 1 Math Question
Happy holidays from GatorPerson!
Here are pictures of Mr. Darcy at 9 weeks.
Math Question:
Found on a Wendy's medium french fry box: "We figured out that there are 256 ways to personalize a Wendy's hamburger. Luckily someone was paying attention in math class."
This implies 256 different combinations of things to add to the basic hamburger and bun.
And how long did it take you to get the answer?

30 Comments:
answer: 8
how long: instantaneous
via: the Mathematician
Mr Darcy: priceless

I had to think for maybe 30s, because I'm not a mathematician and there's a Patriots' game on in the background. But I agree with the 8.
Mr. Darcy is such an adorable fuzzball!

I didn't do the math. I was too busy trying to figure out how to quantify Mr Darcy's adorable quotient. Decided that's not possible. I miss puppy breath. :-)

Merry Christmas, GP! There is a wise old saying, "In the darkness there are CherryBombs," and tonight, one of the longest nights of the year, we CBs are out blog caroling, pushing back the winter darkness by spreading holiday cheer. Before we came to see you, we were cooking up the Great Caroling Conspiracy over here: http://bjwcreations.com/cbBarAndGrill/archives/411
I was going to sing The Twelve Day of Christmas to you, since it comes the closest to doing math, but I changed my mind.
Everybody ready? We'll start with something easy:
O Come, All Ye Faithful
"O come, all ye faithful,
Joyful and triumphant . . ."
LOVE the pictures of Mr. Darcy. Wishing you all the joy of the season, GP!

Oh, come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem.
That is one adorable puppy. Awww.
If there are only 8, that means Wendy's doesn't allow pineapple on their burgers. Nor squash. Pooh.

to (belatedly) finish GP's Latin verse (sorta -spellings are phonetic):
venite in Bethlehem.
Natum videte, regem angelorum
Venite adoremus, venite adoremus, venite adoremus, Dominum!
Merry Christmas!

Frosty the Snowman
Was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the Snowman
Is a fairytale they say
He was made of snow
But the children know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
Frosty the Snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say
He could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me
Frosty the Snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away
Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying catch me if you can
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler stop
Frosty the Snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye
Saying don't you cry
I'll be back again some day
Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow
