Background, Preliminary and Subject To Change

Dick has an apartment and a computer job and cats named Delta and Epsilon. He’s invited his sister, Jane, to stay with him to go to college. They have math adventures. One of the early ones has to do with using proportions. Another one will be Jerry needing Jane’s help in reducing their mother’s recipe for 12 people down to 4. Another will have Jane perplexed about a recipe that calls for 9 inch cake pans when she has 8 inch pans. Another will be a trip into Canada to figure out converting $US/gal to $Can/liter and kilometers to miles. So some adventures will have help from Dick, others help from Jane.

Maybe one chapter will be about how there's only one math operation - addition.
